GE/General Electric 3-5259A Boombox Ghettoblaster AM FM Radio Cassette Tape AUX Player.This is in great overall cosmetic condition. The intenna is in great condition. All knobs and buttons are in great condition and seem to work good. The volume, balance, bass, treble work. FM/AM/FM Stereo all work. Both speakers work good and respond well to balance. It's pretty clean overall for a vintage boombox.There are a couple of scuff marks and a light scratch on the cassette cover. The roller is pushing against the pin so when you put in a cassette the door will not close. The sweep meter does not respond on AM/FM. The battery compartment has some light rust on the lower right terminal but it doesn't effect the use of the batteries. The foam pad on the back of the battery compartment is dry/deteriorating but still 90% intact. The power cord is missing and not included. Requires 8x D cell batteries to use or the power cord. Neither are included with the boombox. Volume scratches when turning volume up and down but not to bad. Once tuned into a channel it's fine. Please view the pictures provided. This is a great vintage boombox. It does need to be serviced/cleaned to be back to the good ol' days. Cosmeticly it looks pretty good. I've done my best to describe the pros and cons for this.
